Edward E. Serafin III is the Chief Security Architect at Micro Strategies. In this role, he is responsible for Micro Strategies’ security and assisting Micro Strategies’ customers with incident response & investigations, security architecture, open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection, security research, penetration testing, security operations, security policies & procedures and security awareness or operations training.
Throughout his career, Edward has worked in many capacities including security analysis, engineering, cyber intelligence and penetration testing.
Prior to joining Micro Strategies, Edward was employed by Telcordia Technologies, Inc. dba iconectiv as their Corporate SOC Director. In this role, he designed and built iconectiv’s corporate security operations center and instituted other cybersecurity initiatives that are still leveraged by iconectiv today. Edward received iconectiv’s ACE Award for his contributions to the iconectiv NPAC information security program which included the creation of the iconectiv NPAC SOC.
