We are one of the largest Independent Insurance Agencies in Passaic County, located in Totowa, NJ seeking a person to work in our busy office environment.

Primary role is to provide assistance to Account Executive and Producer with client transactions inclusive of invoicing, attaching insurance documents in agency management system, and issuing Certificates of Insurance.

Qualifications: Prior commercial lines insurance experience preferred.  Proficient computer skills a must.  Professional and pleasant approach required when interacting with clients and insurance companies.  Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities is important.

Responsibilities: Communicate with clients verbally and in written format. Assist clients with payment terms and conditions and facilitate payments in accordance with agency and company guidelines. Document and update agency management system for each client interaction inclusive of policy renewals, endorsements, cancellation/reinstatement notices. Complete certificate requests as instructed by Account Manager. Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by agency management.

Performance Standards: Include efficient and accurate work product of assigned responsibilities, and ability to multi task. Performance will be evaluated based on transaction processing and overall contribution to the department and agency.

We are one of the largest Independent Insurance Agencies in Passaic County, located in Totowa, NJ seeking an experienced Licensed Commercial Insurance Account Executive to utilize their talents and grow with us.  We have a great team, and are looking for the right person to work in our busy office environment.

Primary role is to provide quality and timely service and expertise to assigned clients.

Qualifications: Include commercial lines product knowledge; construction experience a plus. Client relations, problem solving skills, and risk management expertise, property casualty license with a minimum of 3 years CSR experience. Proficient computer skills including familiarity with agency management systems (Applied Epic a plus).

Responsibilities: Completing all account transactions including, applications, ID cards, endorsements, proposals, coverage summaries, certificates, and binders on assigned accounts. Maintain knowledge of underwriting requirements of carriers. Respond to inquiries from clients, companies and producers on a timely basis. Identify cross selling and coverage upgrade opportunities, and receive compensation for same. Document all activities in agency management system and include all transactions, completing the diary system timely. Adhere to agency underwriting guidelines and obtain client sign off when recommended coverages are not purchased.
